Free Security Service for vulnerable residents in Blaby District

The Blaby District Community Safety Partnership is currently running the “Home Security Scheme” which could help you make your property more safe and secure.

The project runs from now until the end of March 2009 and is open to vulnerable individuals, irregardless of age. The scheme will arrange for the supply and fitting of security products free of charge to resident’s homes.

Working in partnership with Leicester City Council, Adults and Housing department the scheme will be securing the homes of vulnerable people, to reduce the risk of loss through burglary and providing peace of mind by reducing their fear of crime.

To qualify for the free service you need to be a resident of the district, and fit in to certain vulnerable groups.  To check what these are or if you qualify see the details below:

        • Are you an older person who is worried about home safety or security?
        • The under 60s scheme is for vulnerable residents of the district, such as victims of domestic violence.
